Named after the family who formerly lived at Stapleford Park and who donated the land, this low cost housing complex was officially opened by HRH The Princess Royal, President of the Rural Housing Trust on 19th March, 1996. The plot was formerly called 'Sixpenny Gardens' and was the site of the old allotments.
