Formerly known as Pudding Bag Lane, Bursnells Lane was renamed after
George William Bursnall (note the spelling), a boot and shoe maker who
lived in what is now 'The Nook' at the end of the 19th century.
Bursnells Lane forms a cluster of cottages off Sycamore Lane. It is connected
by Polka Walk to West End, off Rookery Lane.
